Awesome Science Pack

for schools and churches:

What’s included:

  • Six sessions about Science and Faith aimed at churches, schools and holiday clubs (45-90 minutes per session).

  • School workshop covering all session themes in five stations plus a plenary (90 minutes total).

    • The stand-alone sessions follow the themes in Science Geek Sam and his Secret Logbook: from planets and space rocks to fossils, dinosaurs and  evolution. How can we believe in God and the Bible and take science seriously?

    • Sessions include (outdoor) quiz trails, Bible stories, science, crafts, experiments and games. The School workshop ties in with the National Curriculum and has been road tested by all seven year groups at a CofE primary school in the UK (ages 4-11).

Praise for Science Geek Sam and his Secret Logbook*:

Inspiration for future generations of faith-filled scientists!
— Rev. Kate Bottley, broadcaster and vicar
Fast moving and utterly delightful, these Year Six pupils puzzle their way through the big questions of the universe. Stars, planets, the age of the earth, and the evolution of life (and who likes whom at school of course).
— Tom McLeish, Professor of Physics, Durham
